Having been friends for many years, they started dating in 2015. Just two short years later, Tristan asked Lyndsey to be his wife. After a lovely afternoon spent playing tennis and enjoying afternoon tea, the groom-to-be started to hatch a plan. Trying to find a romantic spot along the Eastbourne coast where he could drop to one knee and pop the all-important question, he settled on a spot near Holywell Beach, nicknamed Sugar Mountain. Lyndsey says, “He tried to take one of the rings I had on already with the intention to swap it for the engagement ring, but I was being a pain and not playing along!” So in the end, a simple proposal was made. “So do you want to get married then?!” Tristan asked.
