THE GRAND BRIGHTON 01273 224 355 | grandbrighton.co.uk Simultaneously luxurious and charming, The Grand Brighton blends contemporary statement furniture, with sumptuous Renaissance-style décor, accented by glossy Art Deco features. Designed and built in 1864, this historic hotel is an example of Italian influence in Victorian architecture, featuring ornate marble floors and a magnificent sweeping spiral staircase – all located a stone’s throw from Brighton beach. The hotel offers a complimentary stay in a deluxe sea-view bedroom, inclusive of breakfast and valet parking, as part of its wedding package, as well as a tasting menu for two. THE VOWS There are four licensed private event rooms available, which can accommodate anything from intimate gatherings to a 500-strong guest list. Located on the ground floor, the Consort Room is classic in design, and its neutral tones provide a perfect backdrop for chic nuptials. The Regent Room is a traditional wood- panelled space that can accommodate up to 80 of your nearest and dearest. GB2 is a beautifully appointed room and is ideal for larger ceremonies. Its bright classic-meets-contemporary décor and sea-view backdrop provide a scenic setting for “I dos.” Finally, the aptly named Empress Suite, classically designed, can easily be moulded to suit any colour scheme or theme. CELEBRATE IN STYLE The same four function rooms are also available for your reception. The Regent Room gives you the opportunity to step outside for some beautiful post-ceremony photos and works perfectly for the drinks reception as well as the breakfast. The Empress Suite is the biggest of the spaces, capable of holding 800 guests. Here you can dine together before continuing the celebrations in the adjoining sea-facing Pavilion Suite. Did you know? In October 2018, this iconic Brighton landmark revealed restorations to its famous 154-year-old exterior. WORTHING DOME 01903 210 044 | worthingdomeevents.co.uk Built in 1911, Worthing Dome is a Grade II listed building situated on the Sussex coastline and represents rich Edwardian architecture. The building is still a working heritage cinema with a plush interior, boasting many original features. A highlight of the venue’s exterior is the large south-facing balcony, running the width of the building and overlooking the beach. The promenade is but a stone’s throw away, and the pier always proves to be a favourite spot for wedding photos. Equally accessible is Steyne Gardens, an attractive square surrounded by lovely period buildings. THE VOWS The main lounge is a classic room featuring ornate mouldings and iconic south-facing arched windows. You’ll be able to invite plenty of your loved ones to join you for the “I dos,” as it has a capacity for 150. Alternatively, the dramatic Whispering Gallery, boasting beautiful overhead steel framework, is a slightly more intimate space for 85 of your nearest and dearest. Both areas are beautifully light and offer stunning, uninterrupted views across the sea. CELEBRATE IN STYLE Both licensed spaces are also available to host post-vow celebrations. The Main Lounge is suitable for gatherings of all sizes, from large, informal parties of 190 to intimate wedding breakfasts for 30. The Whispering Gallery can cater for a meal with 40 guests and a further 45 for the evening bash. Did you know? A typical example of an Edwardian coastal town entertainment complex, Worthing Dome is one of the last of its kind still standing. paulfletcherphotography.co.uk weddingsbyzest.co.uk 32
