Our flowers featured hues of pink, burgundy and white. The table plan featured memorable places and memories from our journey together including Saint Lucia, Gym Junkies, Lockdown Love, Rhodes, Basel and more. The table names also included guest awards. For example, First RSVP, travelled the furthest, friends who’ve known us longest and best dance moves. The two-tier wedding cake had a base of carrot cake and top tier of red velvet, decorated in flowers to complement our palette. We also had mini cupcakes to go alongside it. Instead of wedding favours we wrote personalised thank you letters to each of our guests, sealed with wax and bearing our initials. These also doubled as place names. We had a wedding magazine for our guests, The Wedding Post. This included the order of the day and menu. We wanted to include Abhi’s culture as much as possible so our canapés and wedding breakfast were beautiful Indian cuisine. 41 REAL WEDDINGS
