Surprisingly, I didn’t cry as much as I thought I would! Once the ceremony was finished, we could relax and have fun partying with our loved ones. Instead of a wedding cake, we opted for a dessert table with a selection of mouthwatering brownies and cupcakes. The place names were designed to fit our green palette and featured a wax seal. We gifted our guests scratch cards as wedding favours. Our centrepieces featured white flowers to complement the bridal party’s bouquets and buttonholes. Not only did we have our daughter present but we were lucky to have our dog Nala at the wedding too. This was another reason for choosing Cissbury Barns as they were dog friendly. 35 REAL WEDDINGS
