All of our suppliers were amazing but both our videographer and photographer took us away during the wedding breakfast to get some sunset photos and it was lovely to take some time away again. Plus, we woke up in the morning with a teaser trailer of our video to share. It was decorated in a neutrally-coloured icing and I’d bought a dried grass topper for it from Etsy featuring our married surname. We bought an old guitar and asked everyone to sign it, which we now have up in our home. We’re both musical and thought this was a fun idea. We created a crisp wall as we both love them. It was made from a wooden pallet and we bought a neon sign to add to it. It said ‘love’ and we added ‘at first bite’ with our favourite crisps. We also had a basket of flip flops for the dancefloor and another full of throws for anyone who got chilly in the evening. We had a sparkler archway reception leading into the first dance, which was a wonderful moment to have and allowed our photographer to capture some lovely photos. Kieron and two of his groomsmen are in a band, so they played for the first half-anhour of our evening reception, which everyone loved. We then had a playlist we’d put together including everything from Motown to musicals, and Ibiza dance music. 40
