Your Sussex Wedding - December/January 2023/2024 (Issue 106)

CELEBRATE IN STYLE Live band Riptide entertained revellers in the evening, and went down a storm. “We’ve had multiple comments from guests since the wedding about how amazing they were,” Grace shares. The couple also laid out lawn games during the day for guests to enjoy before and after the ceremony, which proved popular too. MEMORABLE MOMENTS “For me, seeing Mark and our daughter, Oakley, waiting for me at the end of the aisle was the highlight,” says Grace. Little Oakley wanted to stay with mummy and daddy throughout the ceremony, but kept saying, “Eat, eat,” at regular intervals! “It was well past her lunchtime,”laughs Grace. And continues, “Having almost all of our favourite people in one place at one time was incredibly special and its likely this will never happen again, so we soaked in as much of the atmosphere as possible.” THE GREAT ESCAPE The couple headed to Cyprus for seven nights on honeymoon. Grace planned the trip as she won the hotel stay through her work. “We travelled with our two-year-old, so it wasn’t a particularly relaxing honeymoon, but we did enjoy the time together as a family,” Grace remembers.
