your love? Ali and James tied the knot at Blackstock Country Estate on 24th June, 2022 Images courtesy of Stephanie Kalber James proposed to Ali at the Grand Canyon, while on holiday in Las Vegas. The couple had booked a helicopter tour, and James was feeling very nervous, but then he’s a nervous flyer, so Ali didn’t notice anything unusual. When they landed he asked someone to take a photo of them both, and when Ali turned around, there he was, down on one knee. The pair had first been to Blackstock Country Estate for a charity dinner back in 2016. They’d been together about two years at the time and Ali distinctly remembers saying to James, “This would be exactly the type of place I’d love to get married.” Despite this, they originally ruled the venue out as there was nowhere for guests to stay on site. However, as luck would have it, when they decided to check out a wedding fair being held there, they discovered that some new accommodation had recently been added and everything fell into place for them. “I just knew it was the one for us,” Ali says.
