From putting my dress on to the speeches, it felt like just minutes had passed. My number one piece of advice is to take some time out, just the two of you, to have a chat and take everything in. Keep in mind that the day is about celebrating your love, so it’s important that you spend time together. I didn’t see much of my husband in the evening and I wish we’d taken more time to dance and chat with each other. Things will go wrong, but that’s okay. On the day, you won’t notice the little things, and all that will matter is celebrating with your friends and family. Surround yourself with people that you love and trust. My bridesmaids were absolutely amazing in the run-up to the wedding and on the day itself. They kept my nerves in check and made sure I felt like a beautiful bride.
