61 REGIONAL SHOOT  GLOW Autumn Fall in love with these gorgeous images at the Clyne Farm Centre Images courtesy of Kate Richards Photography T o find out more about this set of images, we spoke to local photographer, Kate Richards. She tells us: “I started chatting to Kirsten from Queen of the Meadow about organising a photo shoot. I suggested a choice of themes, and she decided to go with autumn as it’s a beautiful time of year and she only uses seasonal flowers. All the blooms and foliage used in the shoot were locally sourced. The foliage was from Clyne Farm Centre’s ancient woodland, and the flowers were grown by Blue Hill Flora.” Lumi Event Design was tasked with creating the table design. “She was inspired by her surroundings,” explains Kate. “Lisa and Tor wanted to use rustic, earthy elements utilising the venue’s existing furniture, with natural materials for the place settings. To add softness and colour, they chose neutral fabrics with touches of gold to bring all the details to life.” The impressive cakes were made by Piece of Cake Wales. “Rowanne wanted designs that were understated and elegant using soft lines and subtle textures whilst fitting in beautifully with the natural environment,” adds Kate. “On the first design, a tier separator was used to create an illusion and add height. Soft ruffles with delicate guilting encase the tiers adding gentle texture to a sleek design. The second creation featured a hand-painted stone effect with impressive sweeping ruffles.” The complete the look, Dwynwen by Ryan Thomas provided the stationery. “Ryan aimed to stay true to my simplicity and tone of voice but carefully blend it with an earthy and relaxed finish,” says Kate. “He used hand-torn detailing to create texture, opulent and tactile velvet ribbons and a touch of metallic gold to add a hint of luxury and glamour.”
