59 REGIONAL SHOOT bloom I nspired to do something creative after a difficult few months, local florist, Ruth Milton Jones put together this fabulous shoot. She tells us: “2020 is proving to be a challenge for everyone, so after a few months of little work, I was eager to dust down my scissors and get my imagination going. Living on the Gower, I thought what better place to look for inspiration than The Oxwich Bay? I decided to use sand dunes as a backdrop and draw upon the deep creams and olive greens in the grass for the flowers. I used a combination of dried and fresh plant material, choosing varieties to capture the wildness of the beach and gentle summer breeze.
