We also had a doughnut wall, which went down well with our guests and there wasn’t a crumb left for us by the time we’d had our photos taken! We had been very emotional on the days leading up to the wedding and during the ceremony, I accidentality said ‘unlawful wife’ instead of ‘lawful’ which everyone found hilarious. After the service was done, we felt more relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the day. On the day of our wedding, Storm Dennis was in full swing. This made our day extra special as my grampa was called Dennis. We managed to get out on the beach, and our photographer and videographer captured some great shots. In one image we’re looking out towards the sea, and you can see the blue heart on the back of my dress. This picture was used as a stimulus for one of Christopher Langley’s latest pieces. We were so pleased with it that we purchased it to proudly display in our home. Jonny, the best man who we’ve both known since primary school, had written a poem that revealed some gossip about Anthony. It was so funny and had us all in stitches. Our photographer and videographer captured the moment perfectly. 46
