They all provided us with a fantastic and friendly service. One that did stand out was our photographer, Neil, and his wife, Charlie. We’re not the biggest fans of having our pictures taken, but Neil and Charlie made us feel so comfortable. They joined in and had fun with our nearest and dearest. To us they felt more like wedding guests, they were so lovely and managed to get the most perfect, natural shots. So many of our guests commented on how great they both were, and we’re so thankful to them. The following evening, we organised a charity evening in the tipi. We sold almost 200 tickets and the evening included entertainment from two local artists, an auction and a two-course dinner. The event was very successful, and we raised £14,114.54! We used the money to buy a specialised bike for our page boy who has cerebral palsy, and the remaining money was donated to Llanelli Peony Breast Care Unit and Bobath Children’s Centre. When I found out six months before the wedding that I’d fallen pregnant, I can’t lie I was a little disappointed. We discussed whether we should cancel or postpone the wedding, but in the end, we decided to go ahead. Looking back on it, it couldn’t have been more perfect, and I’m so glad our little girl, Hafanna, was part of our special day. Due to me being heavily pregnant we were unable to fly anywhere for our honeymoon. Instead, we bought a caravan. Following the cleanup operation, we headed off to Chester for a few nights and enjoyed a lovely mini-moon. 48
