I was shaking and profusely sweating due to my hyperactive thyroid. I can’t control my temperature or heart rate, meaning I’m constantly boiling. Luckily the amazing Farhana Ali made me look stunning, and my make-up didn’t move all day. I work as part of a cabin crew, so I often leave my family for a few days when I got to work. Therefore, we’ve decided to go on a family-moon to Crete with the children next year. We can’t wait to go! My eight-year-old son was a little star and gave me away. He also did a speech, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. When we saw each other at the alter our nerves calmed down and luckily one of my friends, Anthony, had a handheld fan that I borrowed and kept hold of all day. 40
