Glitz AND glam Sarah and Wayne had a fabulous celebration at The King Arthur Hotel in Gower Images courtesy of Richard Savage Photography S arah and Wayne met during a night out. “I decided to go out with my friends to celebrate my birthday,” says Sarah. “Having just come out of a relationship, I ignored Wayne when he tried talking to me and was apparently quite rude to him. At the end of the night, we were queuing for a taxi when a fight broke out! Wayne, my friend and I quickly jumped into a taxi and got away safely. The next day I was suffering at home when I received a friend request on Facebook from Wayne. We started talking, and he asked to take me out for dinner, but I politely declined. He persisted and six weeks later I agreed to give him my phone number. We’ve been together ever since, and I’ve never been happier.” Wayne popped the question at a restaurant in Brecon. “I was eight months pregnant and couldn’t wait to try the food,” shares the bride. “I noticed that Wayne was exceptionally quiet when we arrived, and as a few things went wrong, we ended up leaving quite sharpish. As we approached the car, he pulled the ring box out of his pocket and asked me to marry him. I was over the moon, and as it started to rain, it felt quite romantic. It wouldn’t have mattered where he’d asked me the answer always would have been yes!” Here she shares some of her favourite moments from their big day... 37 REAL WEDDINGS
