Your South Wales Wedding - Jul/Aug 2019 (Issue 68)

We chose not to have any entertainment so we could mingle with our friends and family. For our honeymoon, we went to Mauritius for 10 nights. It was the perfect getaway, and we had an amazing time. Trying to find the perfect bridesmaid dress was tricky. My sister gave birth eight months before the wedding and had a growing bump while shopping. We tried lots of different styles and ended up purchasing a beautiful multi-way lilac gown from Victoria Lou Bridal. Marc wore a three-piece navy suit from Dyfed Menswear. My dress was a Rosa Clará design called Eliana from ONE1 Bridal. I visited 10 boutiques and thought I’d found the one at least five times! When I finally decided on a gown, I loved how modern but classic it was. It made me feel really good and was everything I ever wanted. Throughout the planning process, I was adamant that I didn’t want to spend money on transport. I planned to get a taxi to the venue, but my mother-in-law surprised me by booking a vintage bus from Champagne Wedding Cars. It was such a lovely addition and very practical. REAL WEDDINGS 51 
