Your South Wales Wedding - Mar/Apr 2019 (Issue 66)

We’re looking for a wedding photographer, but we’re a bit worried about booking someone online we’ve never met. Do you have any suggestions? ❤ You should always meet your supplier in person before booking. Try to arrange a consultation in their studio or a public place. If that’s not possible, try a phone call. ❤ Ask to see a full album of their previous work. ❤ See whether they have worked at your chosen venue before. If not, meet at the property before the big day to discuss any ideas you may have. ❤ If your photographer hasn’t shot a wedding at your particular venue, ask whether they’ve been a second shooter. They may have some images they can show you. Clare Price clarepricephotography.co.uk SNAP AWAY An al fresco celebration We’re planning to have an outdoor celebration, but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas? ❤ Outdoor weddings are becoming more popular in the UK. Begin by creating a wish list. Jot down all the things you’d like to include such as props, catering, styling, rings and attire. Then decide on a budget. Sit down with your family and work out how much you want to spend on each area. ❤ If you want an informal meal, look at hog roasts, barbecues or fish and chips. ❤ Be creative with the space, and fill it with games, lights and lanterns. ❤ Look at country manors surrounded by beautiful woodland. The trees can be used to hang fairylights to create a magical setting. ❤ Don’t forget to have a backup plan in case of bad weather!
