111 REGIONAL SHOOT WOODLAND WONDER Be inspired by this gorgeous shoot at Gileston Manor Images courtesy of Laura Jones Photography A ngela Bates from Eden Wedding Design, based in Barry, helped to organise this photo shoot at the gorgeous Gileston Manor in the Vale of Glamorgan. “We fell in love with the venue right away,” says Angela. “The hotel has magnificent views, with a secret garden, a church and a marquee. We adored the on-site pets and the cute alpacas, Bill and Ben.” The dresses were supplied by Rachel Burgess Bridal Boutique, while the suits were from Dyfed Menswear. “For the flowers, I incorporated reds, oranges, browns and pheasant feathers,” explains Angela. “To contrast with the autumnal shades, I also included greens and whites.” Trevor Dennis Aesthetics in Porthcawl took care of the make-up. “The team created a classic look with a pop of colour,” adds Angela. “Holly from Haus of Dolls styled the models’ hair. She prides herself on her attention to detail, and with more than 10 years’ experience, she was the perfect choice.” The bake was made by Jenny Skelton from Vale Cakes, and the woodwork was designed by family-run business La Boiserie Woodcraft. “The shoot was photographed by Laura Jones Photography,” says Angela. “While the stationery was created by Aimee Clare Designs.”
