Rustic romance The concept for this styled shoot at Rosedew Farm was a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern sophistication with an on-trend colour palette of mocha, coffee and champagne tones Images courtesy of Marc Smith Photography Nestled in the heart of South Wales, Rosedew Farm is a family-run venue with charming rustic architecture and picturesque surroundings. It provided the perfect stage for this styled shoot brought to life by creative duo Ruth Milton-Jones and Sarah Louise. Ruth tells us: “The concept for the shoot was a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern sophistication with an on-trend colour palette of mocha, coffee, and champagne tones. The result was a setting that exuded timeless romance by day and transitioned seamlessly into a dramatic, magical atmosphere as the evening unfolded. Using a mix of seasonal blooms, I wove together the earthy richness of the colour palette with the freshness of lilac accents. Whimsical centrepieces adorned snaking tables; Greek-inspired urns and plinths created focal points that married natural beauty with artistic precision. The tablescapes were a sight to behold, featuring layered textures, muted metallic accents, and thoughtfully placed florals. “Sarah Louise’s planning and Megan & Claude’s expert styling were evident in every detail. Dramatic drapery added softness to the venue’s exposed beams and stone walls, enhancing the romantic atmosphere while maintaining the space’s authentic character. No detail was overlooked, and signage was no exception. Kirtsy at KM Stationery & Design made sure the custom-made seating plan pulled all the design elements together, draping, florals and gold accents. Sarah and I decided to move away from the champagne tower and bring the cake into play. Enter Centre Stage Cakes and their oversized wedding cake! With both Simon Hughes Film & Photo and Marc Smith Photography on board, all details from the day were captured perfectly.” 50
