DREAMY SUPPLIERS The Welsh National Wedding Awards, now in its 14th year, shine a light on the incredible Welsh wedding industry, with categories ranging from best bridal retailer and best venue to best florist. Throughout the summer, thousands of votes were cast by brides, grooms, and their families, taking time out of their busy lives to say thank you to those suppliers that helped make their dream day extra special. More than 500 shortlisted businesses from every region of Wales attended the Welsh National Wedding Awards ceremony on Sunday 10th November at Swansea’s iconic Brangwyn Hall. The event was opened by award founder Jessica Rice before handing over proceedings to Welsh broadcaster and mental health activist Matt Johnson. Founder Jess Rice told us: “Having hosted The Welsh National Wedding Awards for 14 years, we are passionate about shining a light on the industry, recognising and celebrating suppliers from every corner of Wales, many of whom work incredibly long hours, passionately providing incredible services for a day that will be one of the most special in a couple’s lives together.” Discover more at www.welshnationalweddingawards.co.uk AWARD-WINNING VENUE Craig Y Nos Castle has won the Nation’s Wedding Award for ‘Wedding Venue of the Year’. It’s an evocative soft brown that inspires cacao, chocolate and coffee – perfect for weddings. Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, says: “Underpinned by our desire for everyday pleasures, Mocha Mousse expresses a level of thoughtful indulgence. Sophisticated and lush, yet at the same time an unpretentious classic, it extends our perceptions of the browns from being humble and grounded to embrace aspirational and luxe, presenting a discrete and tasteful touch of glamour.” In celebration of the 26th anniversary of Pantone Color of the Year, Pantone will also for the first time highlight the colour in events and experiences all over the world. From New York and London to Shanghai and Mumbai, Pantone will be sharing public spaces and colour events that will make Pantone Color of Year 2025 accessible for all.
