There’s also a sheltered and fairly flat camping lawn, which can host up to seven tents on the night of the wedding. The venue offers exclusive use with the freedom and flexibility to design your perfect wedding day. There are no packages as every big day is bespoke – DIY or organised. The choice is yours! THE “I DOS” The handmade Douglas fir gazebo with slate roof overlooks what must be one of the most incredible views around. As you take your vows, 60 nearest and dearest can look on from their vantage point just feet away on the gentle grassed slope, which creates a natural amphitheatre on the south-facing lawns. There’s no need to worry about the weather as the venue can provide a marquee to shelter guests in the event of rain. Alternatively, you have the choice to hold your ceremony in The Barn, which has seating for 55 loved ones. CELEBRATE IN STYLE The Barn is a flexible space and can serve in many capacities. It’s a great idea for wedding preparations, a tea station, post-ceremony drinks, children’s activities or a chill-out zone. Nearby is a large barbecue area, which is yours for the weekend and the flat gravelled space can be used for the wedding car, additional catering or entertainment. The reception lawns, complete with entrance steps and arches, sit at the south end of the venue and are large enough to suit all sizes of marquee depending on your plans, but up to 80 guests is a comfortable number. You can also have a catering tent, mobile bar, dancefloor, DJ and/or other live music here. For any reception, the entire venue including grounds and gardens, is exclusively yours for the duration of your booking (minimum two nights).
