What dress styles will keep me cool and comfortable? Soft, flowing, lightweight fabrics such as chiffon, crepe or tulle tend to be best for summer weddings, although other fabrics can work too. For example, a mermaid-style gown looks amazing on most brides, but it’s not practical to climb into a carriage or even lots of stairs as it will restrict your movement. What do you suggest? To me, a boho look screams loose waves, braids and free-flowing hair – it’s my favourite bridal hairstyle. Incorporating a fishtail braid can help to keep structure in the style, whether you have an up do or half up do, and it will create that boho vibe you want.
