She was everywhere, knew everything and was generally fabulous! Our humanist celebrant, Beth, was also wonderful; she helped set the tone for the day, and the ceremony she created really encapsulated us. Shar from SJP Bridal was so kind when my grandad was ill, taking photos of me in the sample dress so he could see how I would look on the day. That thoughtfulness at such a difficult time, in the months before he passed away, had a big impact on him and us. I had a very emotional evening the night before. We had spent most of the day setting up surrounded by our favourite people, and by the end of it all I was quite overwhelmed. Come the morning, I was calm as anything! It was a wonderful feeling walking down the aisle with my dad, I was beaming at everyone I could catch eyes with. We spent most of the day laughing! 42
