The venue is alive with abundant greenery, dried flowers, recycled props and lots of gorgeous natural wood. An organic sprawl of potted plants, ferns and foliage fills the tables, accented with silk table runners, elegant candlesticks and sparkling glassware. A giant foliage ball creates a striking focal point overhead. Shoot organiser and owner of The Barn at Cott Farm, Becca Seyfried, tell us, “I wanted this shoot to show that a sustainable wedding doesn’t need to be overly rustic or minimalistic; it can be overflowing with organic opulence but still be eco-friendly.” Becca was determined to make use of the talented suppliers we have in Somerset. “We encourage our couples to source businesses as close to the venue as possible,” she says. “This not only limits your carbon footprint, but it should make communication easier throughout the planning.” Enjoy these stunning images, and if you want to find out more, head to our website for Becca’s top tips for a sustainable big day.  E c o - l u x e
