They theme the sets around festivals, for example, Live Aid is an 80s set. They curate the songs to keep people on the dancefloor – and it worked! The floor was jam-packed all night and the band even learned our first dance for us. The day was everything we could have hoped for, and the personal touches from our family and friends made it so special. Walking out after the ceremony with our friends cheering and throwing confetti is a moment we’ll never forget. The speeches were great and the party atmosphere in the evening left everyone on a high. We both felt really nervous leading up to the big moment, but as soon as we set eyes on each other we instantly felt calm and safe. The rest of the day was filled with laughter, smiles and fun. Ben got a bit nervous during dinner before he gave his speech, but thankfully got his usual big appetite back in time for dessert! Something we never expected to enjoy as much as we did was the photography, as we’re both quite shy. We scoured the internet for a photographer and Sheryl from Oobaloos Photography’s work stood out for its quality and individuality. Having her there on the day was a delight. We both usually hate having our photo taken, but it was actually one of the highlights of the day. She made us feel totally at ease, which is why our images look so natural. “ JODIE’S TOP TIP: We had an agreement that when we saw something we really liked for the wedding, we’d just go for it and stop looking any further.
