We had a book theme throughout the day. Our place settings were bookmarks with quotes from literature on them, while the tables were named after fictional lands. Instead of a traditional cake topper we had Pop Vinyl figures of Jack and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. There was also a selection of yummy cupcakes. For our flowers we had a variety of white blooms accented with foliage, all bound together with blue ribbons. Our table centrepieces were small glass containers filled with coordinating florals. I’d been to the venue before for an event and I was struck by how beautiful it was. It’s one-of-a-kind – we didn’t look anywhere else. 42
