Your Bristol & Somerset Wedding - Feb/Mar 2019 (Issue 69)
71 REGIONAL SHOOT Inspired by the Johnny Depp film, this collaborative shoot is full of super-sweet touches Images courtesy of Liz Baker Fine Art Photography Chocolat T he 2000 film Chocolat featured scenes shot at the glorious Brympton House in Somerset, so what better influence could there be for a beautiful styled shoot? “The main character, Vianne, and her love of chocolate was our inspiration,” Liz Baker of Liz Baker Fine Art Photography tells us. “The Chocolate Society supplied irresistible chocolate truffles in coordinating shades of burgundy, caramel and duck-egg blue – the most decadent of favours or wedding-day gifts.” They created a warm, joyful and honest celebration with a relaxed European feel. A riot of floral colour adorned the tables, and elegant tableware was wonderfully offset with farmhouse furniture. An intricate cake was hung from a swing for a pretty al fresco vibe. “At the centre was a bride, waiting in excitement in the idyllic walled garden, preparing herself to walk the outdoor aisle to the temple – its brickwork brought to life with a lush, verdant installation,” Liz says. Shot on film, we know you’ll love these romantic images…
