My mum, cousin and I made bunting and my friend made some macrame wall hangings for us. I also made some macrame pew ends for the church along with a macrame Mr & Mrs sign for our sweetheart table. I let the bridesmaids choose their own dresses as long as the colour was within my palette. I just wanted them to be comfortable. I like the idea of mis-matched colours and styles and think it worked beautifully. I found my dress at a lovely shop in Street, Bridal Reloved, now Louisa Jackson Bridal. It was an exdisplay gown. I did have to have it altered though as it was about four sizes too big! The flowers were perfect, I didn’t really have to do much. I just sent our florist some photos of things I like and had a quick chat before she took care of the rest – they were incredible. Lisa from Ampersand Memories and Molly from MW Events were both incredible and extremely helpful both on the day and in the lead up. I couldn’t have done any of it without them. The whole day was incredible and just felt amazing. There was not one single problem. Michael wore a beautiful three-piece suit from Slaters in a burgundy check, with a tie I had made in our design. The older two groomsmen and the dads wore navy and royal blue three-piece suits, also from Slaters, with their own shirt and shoes. The younger three wore three-piece navy and royal blue suits from an online occasionwear for kids shop. 32
