For our honeymoon, we decided to go on a weekend away to York. We have three children and had already pre-booked two holidays, so we decided to do something small. We went sight-seeing, enjoyed a ghost bus tour and ate plenty of food. It was a lovely weekend and I look forward to having more trips like it! We both said it was the best day of our lives, aside from the birth of our children! The wedding went by so fast, but everything was perfect. Our favourite moment was seeing each other at the aisle and having all of our family and friends with us. In the evening, we had singer Holly Ellison and a saxophonist perform. For the first half of their set, it was all popular songs, and then the second half was Ibiza style, and it got everyone up dancing. It was a brilliant atmosphere. All of our suppliers made everything perfect and extra special. From the amazing Mark The Piano Guy singing us in and out of the ceremony to the extra touches from Balloon Dreams and Bridal Attractions, they all went above and beyond. My dress was a Ladybird design from Melissa Marie Bridal Wear in Wigan. It was a fishtail gown with lace detailing and a corset back. I absolutely loved my dress from the moment I tried it on. I was also on my weight-loss journey and was three stone heavier when I originally tried it on. Attending my last dress fitting three stone down, it looked like a totally different gown, and I loved it even more! Daniel chose a navy check suit from Next with a sage green tie and a white buttonhole to match my bouquet. 35 REAL WEDDINGS
