Your North West Wedding - June/July (Issue 80)

Jordan chose a beige suit from Woven Durham that he had altered to incorporate black touches. To keep everyone entertained, we had a live singer who stayed for the canapés. We also had a sax player who came just as dessert finished, and the dancefloor was bouncing all night long! We had an owl drop the rings during the ceremony, they then stayed for pictures and so people could hold them. I wore a Martina Liana dress from Goldie’s Bridal. After watching Say Yes to the Dress for many years, I knew I wanted a Martina dress. From the leg split to the detachable straps and sleeves, it was simply perfect. I had a custom-made veil in the same fabric as the train and a mini version of the dress made for my little girl by Diva Designs For You. To finish the look, Joanne Nichol Hair Stylist made signature pearls that I slotted in my hair that were very similar to the ones on my Jimmy Choo shoes. The bridesmaids opted for black dresses that had a slit in the leg to match mine. It was the best day ever from start to finish, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat if I could! 23 REAL WEDDINGS
