We’re both avid readers so getting married surrounded by books at The Portico Library was perfect for us. Our centrepieces were cactuses, flowers and fairylights placed inside glass bottles. I made the table plan using stationery from Papier. Tom and I wanted a relaxed atmosphere for our reception, and Seven Bro7hers Brewing Co was perfect for both a casual meal and disco. The in-house chef made sharing platters for our starter, chicken and chorizo stew for the main and a selection of desserts to finish. Instead of a traditional cake, we had a cheese tower from The Cheese Hamlet. Northern Flower created my beautiful bouquet, and the table decorations were put together by my mum and best woman. 28
