Your North West Wedding- April/May 2021 (Issue 67)
REAL WEDDINGS I wore a calf-length tea dress from La Fleur Bridal. This was the style I liked and felt most comfortable in. I wanted a design that wouldn’t get in the way and that I could dance and walk around in. There was a lot of anticipation before the day, and we were both really looking forward to it. We wanted our friends and family to enjoy themselves, and everyone had a great time, so it was all worth it. Mark opted for a Harris tweed suit provided by Lanigan & Hulme. The groomsmen wore blue suits with yellow trousers to tie our colours together. The bridesmaids chose green tea-length dresses which had a summery feel. We hired a band called High Peak Music with a female singer who got everyone up and dancing. We had a bar in the same room to encourage everyone to get onto the dancefloor, which was an effective strategy. There was also a photo booth controlled by Two For Joy Photography. This was great entertainment for everyone, especially the children who really loved it. 23
