Your North West Wedding- February / March 2021 (Issue 66)

I felt a bit nervous on the morning of the wedding but also excited and relieved that it was actually happening! We’re planning to have a big party wi th all 160 of our guests at a later date. For our flowers, we chose blooms that would tie in with our autumnal colour scheme from Lune Valley Home & Garden Florist. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to have a reception due to COVID-19 restrictions. We chose to get married at St Paul’s Church, Scotforth. It’s a striking building and the aisle isn’t in the middle like a traditional church, which we really liked. We had to re-plan our entire wedding due to the pandemic. We initially felt quite sad, but the situation made us rea lise what’s really important. We were just so glad that we got married in the end! 34
