65 REGIONAL SHOOT W e rarely see vintage- themed shoots here at Your North West Wedding , so when these Peaky Blinders - inspired images landed in our inbox, we just had to share them with you all. We spoke to the make-up artist, Nicola Miller to find out more: “I’ve always wanted to create a classic look, like something out of an old photograph. We loved the idea of creating a 1920s shoot and took a lot of inspiration from the show Peaky Blinders . We decided to use The Imperial Hotel Blackpool as a backdrop because of its Art Deco features and Victorian architecture. For the make-up, I created a smooth, natural complexion with rosy rouged cheeks and deep red lips. A dainty lip shade was very fashionable in the ’20s and was never applied to the full corner of the mouth.
