They went above and beyond and did more than we ever expected. Everyone made us feel like we were the only people in the world. My grandma’s mobile rang the whole way through our speeches! She obviously had some important friends or business to tend to, but thankfully she made them wait. We also had some crazy family dancing in the evening, but that’s normal for both our families. In the run-up to the wedding, we spent a lot of time researching entertainment and music. In the church, we had an organ play hymns with the support of Blackburn Peoples Choir. They sang the most beautiful songs that were so meaningful and touching. At the wedding breakfast, we had a magician who stunned everyone with his tricks. In the evening, we had The Relays perform followed by a DJ, Danny Matthews Entertainment, who ensured the dancefloor was never empty. I remember the night before the wedding feeling so excited! I felt overwhelmed walking down the aisle, but when I reached the end, I relaxed and was fully emersed in that moment. 44
