Sarah and Paul shocked their guests with a surprise wedding Images courtesy of Jo Hague Photography S arah and Paul first laid eyes on each other at work. “We didn’t have an instant connection,” says Sarah. “It wasn’t until Paul offended me one day and later added me on Facebook to apologise that we hit it off.” Paul asked Sarah to be his wife on their fifth anniversary. “After a particularly bad start to the year, my mum treated us to a few days away in Yorkshire,” shares the bride. “Paul planned to propose once we were ready for our evening meal, but I took too long to get ready! When we got back to the hotel room, he gave me a trainer box, I was confused and when I turned around he was down on one knee with a beautiful ring.
