We hired The Bandeoke Experience, which is basically karaoke but with a live band. Abbie and I kicked things off with our rendition of Human League’s Don’t You Want Me . We’re lucky that our friends and family were really up for it. For our honeymoon, we were fortunate enough to book a villa in the Maldives. It was paradise in the turquoise waters, white beaches and private infinity pool. We snorkelled during the day and night, seeing fish of all colours and sizes, and even two turtles! It was my birthday while we were there and the resort lavished us with fresh coconuts, a free snorkel trip and a surprise birthday cake. We doubt we’ll ever be able to afford to go again, but the memories we made will last a lifetime. 50
