Your North West Wedding - Dec/Jan 2019 (Issue 59)
J ennifer Holdway from Exquisite Ivory Events teamed up with a host of local suppliers to capture these lovely images. Jennifer tells us: “Ramsbottom is a lovely town situated on the south side of West Pennie Moors. What many people are unaware of is how thriving the local wedding industry is, making our wonderful town a must-visit destination. I was asked by Wendy from Lacy Days of Ramsbottom to coordinate on this photo shoot to help promote local businesses. We loved the romance of the East Lancashire Railway and wanted to create a fun and sophisticated atmosphere.” The dresses were supplied by Lacy Days of Ramsbottom. “We chose an ivory Louise Bentley gown called BE171 ,” explains Jennifer. “We completed the look with a Linzi Jay single-tier veil and hairpiece. The flowergirl wore an ivory Richard Designs dress caleld RD1014 . It had a beautiful bow on the back and was made from florating organza.” The hair and make-up was done by the talented Hair & Beauty by Kelly. “To create a modern twist, we opted for a high messy bun and for the make-up, we chose a pink eyeshadow and blush,” shares Jennifer. “The flowers were created by Alternative Arrangements. The bouquet perfectly encapsulated the sophistication and elegance of the location and occasion. It seamlessly flattered the gown without overshadowing it and was truly exquisite in its detail.” To finish the look Louise from Balloons by Design supplied beautiful arrangements, Orbital created bespoke stationery and Sweetness & Lights NW provided a floral arch and flowerwall. journey SENTIMENTAL Be inspired by this lovely shoot at East Lancashire Railway Images courtesy of Joe Hague Photography ▶ 87 REGIONAL SHOOT
