The Rivington Hall Barn was the first and only venue we looked at. We fell in love with it straight away and were attracted to its great reputation and location. Our big-day bake was four tiers and described as blingy and classy by our guests. Michael is known for his love of cake, so I had an extra piece made saying ‘hands-off Michael’s slice!’ To add a personal touch, we incorporated personalised charms into our bouquets. Mine had a picture and words from my grandma. We had an amazing wedding breakfast, followed by a summer barbecue. For our centrepieces, we wanted something big and beautiful. Our lovely friend, Joanne from Harrison’s Flowers, arranged everything and the result looked great. We had a white limousine to transport our guests. It looked great, and Michael and I even had the chance to spend 10 minutes in it after the ceremony. 34
