Do you have any suggestions? ❤ Opt for a design with long sleeves. Since Meghan Markle’s wedding, it’s become a popular style and very on- trend. Make sure it’s a heavy fabric to help keep you warm. ❤ If your chosen dress is sleeveless, then why not opt for a faux fur cover? It looks beautiful, and you could even purchase a matching set for your bridesmaids. ❤ Alternatively, wear thermals under your gown. That way you can stay warm, and if you feel yourself overheating in the evening, you can easily take them off. How can I achieve this while still looking like me? ❤ You can still look and feel glamorous on your big day without overdoing it. If you’re used to a more natural look, then don’t feel the need to change that. ❤ Prep your skin and use a quality primer. This will help to minimise pores and keep your make-up in place throughout the day. ❤ A good foundation is key. There are lots of versions available that offer decent coverage without being too heavy. My particular favourites are Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. If you would like an extra glow, try mixing in an illuminator. ❤ To contour, use a powder that is two or three shades darker than your natural skin tone. Purchase a small round fluffy brush, and tap off any excess before applying it to the hollow of your cheeks and forehead. ❤ Apply a liquid or powder blusher to the apples of your cheeks, and brush a highlighter across your cheekbones. To avoid any unwanted shine, use a translucent fixing powder on your T-zone and any areas you feel are too shiny. ❤ Finish with a smoky or natural eye and false lashes.
