REAL WEDDINGS 35 DRESSED TO IMPRESS Caroline fell in love with a princess-style dress. “It was lace with a beaded bodice,” shares Caroline. “Clare opted for two separates with a layered skirt and lace button top. I accessorised with a bespoke chapel-length veil, and Clare chose a draped pearl and crystal headpiece.” The flowergirl chose a gown designed by Kathryn Henry with an adorable blue bow. MEMORABLE MOMENTS “On the morning of our nuptials, we were extremely excited,” explains Caroline. “Our vows were so special, and having our dog, Ollie, bring us the rings made it a moment we’ll never forget.” The couple were thrilled with Cote How Lake District Weddings. “Caroline and Steve couldn’t have done more for us,” Caroline shares. “They were always there when we needed them and ensured everything ran smoothly.” HONEYMOON “We loved the Lake District, so we decided to have our honeymoon in a pet-friendly cottage in Keswick,” says Caroline. “We spent the week exploring and snuggled up in front of the log burner.” TOP TIPS “When things don’t go to plan, try to stay calm. Enjoy every moment, and make sure you take some time by yourself so you can take everything in.” – Caroline
