Your North West Wedding - Mar/Apr 2019 (Issue 55)
Later in the day, we went to a nearby waterfall to take some photographs. One of the groomsmen was holding my dress so it wouldn’t get dirty and nearly ended up exposing my behind! The day after the wedding, we asked our guests to join us back at the venue. Unknown to them, we’d hired 26 paint cannons from Party Puffin. It drew crowds of people and was a fun way to end the celebrations. The speeches were brilliant. The best man and my brother did an amazing job – they shared hilarious stories that meant so much to us. We hired Anna Christensen Harpist to perform. She was one of our first bookings, and the music sounded beautiful. For the bridesmaids’ dresses, I went to The Bridal House of Torrisholme and found a colour sample that Andrew and I loved. With this in mind, we ended up choosing a True Bride design called M640 . It had a cowl back with buttons and a jewelled belt. For our honeymoon, we were going to visit an ice hotel in Sweden, but once we found out I was pregnant, we changed our plans and enjoyed some quality time together instead. REAL WEDDINGS 53
