Sneak Peak Kathryn and Chris got engaged in the French Alps Images courtesy of Hayley Crone Photo Kathryn and Chris met at work in 2018. “Chris joined the company after he’d been travelling around Asia, and we hit it off straight away,” says Kathryn. “Within a few weeks we had our first date – and never looked back. I moved into Chris’s Gateshead flat where we spent our nights cooking, dancing around the kitchen, or wandering to the city centre for drinks. At the next run he managed to get me to stop, sitting down before Chris got out a mini bottle of Champagne from his backpack. I still didn’t twig! After a glass, he produced a perfect Princess cut engagement ring, asking me to marry him overlooking the Alps. It was perfect in every way.” The couple set the date of 21 April 2023, choosing Charlton Hall as their venue. Here, Kathryn tells us more about their big day… 34
