Lewis looked absolutely amazing in his three-piece suit, which comprised of a stone waistcoat and jacket with navy trousers and tie. We wanted a venue that could cope with a large party, as we knew our wedding would be a big affair! The Stotts are never-ending, and I have a big family, too, so Newton Hall was the perfect choice. We asked our cake-maker to create a seminaked bake with pink roses and greenery as decoration. It was elegant, classy – and tasted delicious! I wore the Maggie Sottero Rhiannon design. I always thought I’d wear a fitted dress, but when I tried those styles on, I didn’t feel special. Dani at Y.A.P Bridal listened to my feedback and pulled out the Rhiannon as a wild card. As soon as I saw myself in it, I knew it was the one. My three bridesmaids wore pink Champagne fishtail fitted dresses, with scoop backs and belt-style detail at the waist. They wore their hair up and looked absolutely stunning. My bridesmaids and I carried beautiful bouquets of pink avalanche roses, calla lilies, anemones, astilbe, lisianthus, astanthia and eucalyptus. Our florist did an incredible job! We had to delay our wedding by nine months due to COVID. However, on our original date one of Lewis’s close family members ended up in hospital. It made us realise that everything happens for a reason. 40
