We were lucky enough to get on a plane after our July wedding for our second honeymoon, which felt like a huge achievement given all the travel restrictions. We stayed 11 nights at the Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamaica; it was absolute bliss with sun, sea and rum – our favourite things!” “All of our suppliers were great and accommodated our weddings perfectly. A big treat for Peter was the classic Jaguar E-Type in dark blue supplied by Northumbria Classic Car Hire. “Two companies really stood out to us. The manager Nick at The Duke of Wellington Inn met with us numerous times before the wedding and got everything spot on. Our photographer Joss was also brilliant and photographed all those special moments. We received so much feedback from our guests about how friendly she was.” “We hired Union Street to entertain guests, and the band had us all dancing for the first time in over a year as restrictions had only just eased. We also had a photo booth supplied by Crazy-Pix; the team was amazing and got so many people involved. “We honestly felt like the luckiest people in the world on the day; we couldn’t believe we’d managed to pull both days off! Being with friends and family, many of whom we hadn’t seen in such a long time because of the lockdowns, was just so special.” 34
