After tackling a few obstacles caused by Covid-19 and rescheduling multiple times, our wedding finally took place on July 10 th 2021. The table plan had a beautiful illustration of Brinkburn at the top and we named the tables after our favourite places in Northumberland – of course Alnmouth was the first table. The look on Glenn’s face when he saw me for the first time is something I’ll never forget. We booked our wedding venue before we’d even seen it properly; we had driven down the track of Brinkburn Northumberland, and immediately fell in love. We had placement discs with rose-gold writing and a blush tassel for our favours/place names. I felt nervous and excited on the day; I couldn’t w ait to walk down the aisle and marry my best friend. 28
