ONCE UPON a time Glenn and Vanessa’s fairytale-inspired wedding featured a lovely blush colour scheme Images courtesy of M.I.N.E Photography G lenn was celebrating his 30 th birthday in Newcastle when he first met Vanessa, who sang happy birthday to him before they exchanged numbers. Six months after their official meeting, Glenn got in touch to ask her on a date and they headed to Lumiere festival in Durham – they’ve been inseparable since that day! On Sunday 30 th August 2020, Glenn surprised Vanessa by asking to marry her in Alnmouth. She says, “The location has always been our special place where we visited a lot and would take Glenn’s Grandma – so it holds a special meaning to us.” Glenn had always wanted to go there for a late-night walk and the pair set off one Sunday for what Vanessa thought was just another walk – but she was so wrong! She comments, “Glenn stopped by a row of colourful houses and got down on one knee to ask me to marry him – I was in shock, but I immediately said yes.” She adds, “We then had a walk along the beach; the sky was amazingly full of stars and a full moon.” Here Vanessa share details about their special day... 27 REAL WEDDINGS
