Colour palettes of blues, greens and reds – think berry tones – are the must-have suit hues, and the mix ‘n’ match ensemble is a trend that’s here to stay. Rather than trying to reschedule your venue and suppliers, why not look into having a celebrant-led ceremony and then head to the registry office to complete the legal paperwork on a different date? You can still include all the meaningful elements such as exchanging personal vows and wedding rings. Share your ideas and take time to get to know the celebrant and they’ll create a bespoke ceremony that reflects you as a couple and tells your story. To encapsulate your garden-themed wedding, pick stationery with floral illustrations and watercolours while featuring the natural beauty of seasonal blossoms and foliage. For colour palettes, I would take inspiration from the location and backdrop of your venue and include this across the stationery pieces. Alternatively, incorporate delicate or lush greenery in different shades into the design for a more subtle but effective way to highlight the theme no matter the season. Make a personal monogram design by having greenery wreaths around your initials. Then carry on your chosen design, matching on-the-day stationery to create a seamless coordinated theme throughout. Go that extra mile and name your tables after different flowers or foliage, and print the designs on seeded paper, which complements the theme and is environmentally friendly.
