LYNNE YOUNG AT LYNNE YOUNG MILLINERY Since 2009, I’ve produced stunning bespoke ranges including beautiful hats and headpieces for numerous clients including TV presenter Marietta Doran and fashionable brides. Each piece is elegant, understated and handmade using the highest quality of materials. I qualified as a milliner studying at Leeds College of Art & Design and have attended several courses including an intensive millinery course with Rose Cory, milliner to the late Queen Mother. The business started at my family home and after 10 years, I opened my first studio in the Northern Quarter, Redcar. I offer a personal service to all clients here with more than 150 designs, some of which are available to hire. We design luxury, high-end products and always go out of our way to make sure clients get what they want and feel amazing. With the wedding industry on pause, brides need to be ready as soon as the government give the go-head. There will be a high demand for suppliers as many weddings have been postponed and cancelled the past year. We have a vast selection of materials from lace to duchess satin, dupion silk, chiffon, organza, taffeta and velvets, in every colour of the rainbow. Explore our embellishments and other techniques such as hand-painting and embroidery too.
