KELLY IBINSON AT BELLABOOSGIFTS Shortly after planning my wedding in 2015, I created handmade touches for the day including favours, signs and table décor – all of which went down a storm with my guests! I suddenly had the crafting bug and as a life-long lover of all things bridal, I knew I had to combine the two and Bellaboosgifts was born. Our range includes everything from ‘Mint to Be’ favours (a best- selling item) to wedding signs for four-legged friends. We even make cookies, including our wedding range and cookie gift boxes for birthdays and special occasions. All items are created in the North East at my family home with help occasionally from my lovely mum and daughter. The last year has been challenging for all small businesses, but we’ve done our best to adapt and expand the company. I’ve been working with several brides whose weddings have been postponed and I can’t wait to finally see my new creations when the couples finally get to say those two magical words. In 2014, we designed our wedding stationery and was then asked to create items for friends and family. We then started working with couples across the North East and the UK through recommendations. Since then, we created an online presence with our website and social media accounts. This has boosted interest in our services and we now work with some of the region’s most popular venues including Beamish Hall Hotel, Charlton Hall, Doxford Barns and Wylam Brewery to name a few. The experience we’ve gained while working in the wedding industry enables us to guide couples through every step of the design process, ensuring 100 per cent satisfaction with the final design and surpassing expectations.
