Gary’s down to earth and fun personality instantly caught Joanne’s attention, they hit it off right away and both shared the same sense of humour while not taking anything too seriously. On a Sunday evening back in 2019, the pair settled down to watch some TV when Gary asked Joanne to marry him. She says, “The idea of being proposed to anywhere else would have been my worst nightmare, especially in front of people, so being at home was perfect!
